Recently, the Education Technology and Resource Development Center of the Ministry of Education announced the "Second Batch List of Innovative Laboratory Projects for Virtual Simulation Teaching in Higher Education Institutions". The "Green Intelligent Manufacturing Virtual Simulation Innovation Laboratory" project applied by Guo Shoujing Innovation College of our university was successfully selected. This is the second consecutive year that our university has been recognized as a national level institution, and it is also the only university in our province that has won this honor among similar undergraduate institutions. This marks a new breakthrough in our school's digital teaching reform and interdisciplinary talent cultivation, and further reflects our firm determination to actively respond to the national education digitalization strategy and empower teaching reform with technological innovation.
The Green Intelligent Manufacturing Virtual Simulation Innovation Laboratory project takes intelligent manufacturing as its core, breaks through the limitations of traditional single disciplines, integrates advantageous resources from multiple fields such as chemical engineering, machinery, electronics, and information technology, and builds a practical teaching platform that integrates physical entities, digital twins, and intelligent simulation. It also collaborates deeply with leading enterprises in the region to transform the difficulties faced by enterprises in actual production into practical training cases, forming an innovative teaching mode of "virtual real combination, cross integration, and virtual promotion", breaking through the barriers between "teaching training research and development", achieving seamless integration of the three, and providing strong support for cultivating compound engineering and technical talents with solid theoretical knowledge, strong practical application ability, and innovative spirit.
In the future, our school will continue to deepen the deep integration of virtual simulation technology with education and teaching, create a high-level digital teaching platform, provide strong support for cultivating high-quality applied talents in the new era, and contribute more to serving regional economic and social development and national strategic needs.
